American Woodcrafters Recalls Bunk Beds Due to Fall Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Havertys (Recall Alert)

Hazard
The bed's side mattress support rails can break, posing a fall hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the beds and contact Havertys to arrange for the free installation of free replacement rails. American Woodcrafters and Havertys are contacting their customers directly.
Sold at
Havertys stores nationwide and online at havertys.com from September 2011 through March 2014 for between $600 and $1,000.

American Woodcrafters has received two reports of bed support rails breaking, in which children fell from the bed and sustained bruising.
