Dirt Devil Recalls Hand Vac Turbo Tool Accessory Due to Laceration Hazard

The interior fan of the Turbo Tool accessory can break and eject from the tool housing, posing a laceration hazard to the user or bystanders.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the Turbo Tool accessory and contact the firm for instructions on receiving a free replacement tool accessory.
Sold at
Home improvement stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Walmart.com and other online retailers from January 2012 through February 2015 for about $30 for the hand vac including the accessory tool.

About 22,000 in the United States and about 2,500 in Canada
Injuries reported
Royal Appliance received six reports of the Turbo Tool accessory breaking. No injuries have been reported.
