Shark Vacuum Cleaners Recalled by Euro-Pro Due to Shock Hazard

Hazard
The aluminum wand can disconnect from the vacuum cleaner's handle and remain energized with electricity, posing a risk of electric shock.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vacuum cleaners and contact Euro-Pro to receive a free replacement wand.
Sold at
Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Kohl's, Lowes, Target and other stores nationwide, online at www.sharkclean.com and through television infomercials from August 2014 through March 2015 for between $250 and $350.

About 142,000 in the United States and about 650 in Canada
Injuries reported
The firm has received 62 reports of incidents in which the aluminum wand disconnected from the vacuum cleaner's handle. No injuries have been reported.
