Sleeping Partners Recalls Moses Basket and Stand Due to Fall Hazard

Hazard
The Moses basket fails to meet the federal hand-held infant carrier standard and the stand fails to meet the bassinet/cradle standard. The basket can slide off an inclined surface and the stand can tip, posing a fall hazard for infants.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the Moses baskets as a hand-held infant carrier. Consumers who purchased both items should immediately stop using the recalled stand and contact the firm for instructions on returning the basket and stand to receive a store credit.
Sold at
Babies R Us and buybuy Baby and online at Amazon.com, Bellacor.com, Kohls.com, Quidsi.com, Wayfair.com and Zulily.com from April 2014 through July 2015 for between $50 and $90 for the Moses basket and from June 2014 through July 2015 for between $25 and $35 for the stand.
