Yamaha Recalls Golf Cars and Personal Transportation Vehicles Due to Risk of Injury, Death (Recall Alert)

Yamaha Golf Car Company, of Newnan, Ga.
Hazard

The front wheel hubs on the golf cars and PTVs can crack causing the front wheels to detach, posing a crash hazard that could result in injury or death to the user or bystander.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled Golf Cars and PTVs and contact their local Yamaha Golf Car dealer to schedule a free repair.
Sold at
Yamaha Golf Car dealers nationwide from April 2015 through June 2015 for between $5,900 and $7,500. Yamaha is contacting all registered owners directly.
