Disney Store Recalls Pencil Cases Due to Ingestion Hazard (Recall Alert)
Disney Store USA, LLC, of Pasadena, Calif.
Hazard
The two magnets holding the pencil case lid closed can detach, posing an ingestion hazard. When these two magnets are swallowed, they can link together inside a child's intestines and result in serious internal injuries.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately take the recalled pencil cases away from children and contact Disney Stores to receive a full refund.
Sold at
Disney Stores nationwide during June 2015 for about $15.
