Walmart Recalls Rival Electric Water Kettles Due to Burn and Shock Hazards
Wal-Mart Stores Inc., of Bentonville, Ark.
Hazard
The heating element can fail and rupture, posing burn and shock hazards to the user.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled kettle and return it to any Walmart store for a full refund.
Sold at
Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com from March 2011 through October 2015 for about $14.
