Overstock.com Recalls Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Due to Fire Hazard

The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.

Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled products and contact Overstock.com for instructions on receiving a full refund.

Online at Overstock.com from September 2015 through December 2015 for between $365 and $485.

There has been one report of the battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards overheating and catching on fire. There have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
