STUBAI Recalls Ice Axes Due to Laceration and Impact Hazards

Hazard
The knife in the axe handle can detach, posing a laceration or impact hazard to the user or bystanders.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ice axe and contact STUBAI for instructions on receiving a free replacement axe.
Sold at
Hansen Mountaineering, International Rocky Trade, Mount Hunt Supplies and online at www.campsaver.com and from June 2015 through June 2016 for about $200.
