Nantucket Distributing Recalls Pre-Lit Christmas Trees Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

Hazard
The fuse on the product can overheat and blow, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should immediately stop using the pre-lit Christmas trees. The firm has contacted all known purchasers of the recalled product and all trees sold to consumers have been returned for a full refund.

Christmas Tree Shops, Christmas Tree Shops andThat!, and andThat! stores from October 2016 through November 2016 for about $150.

The firm has received one report of exposed wires and seven reports of blown fuses on display trees in stores. No injuries have been reported.
