NordicTrack Rowing Machines recalled for screen console fire hazard

What this means

The screen console on certain NordicTrack Rowing Machines can overheat and catch fire. iFIT has received eight reports of the problem, including two fires and six instances of smoking or melting, with at least $6,000 in property damage reported. No injuries have been reported so far.

Stop using the rowing machine immediately and unplug it.
Check your machine's model number (NTRW19147.0, NTRW19147.1, NTRW19147.2, or NTRW19147.3) on the decal attached to the rower base.
Contact iFIT to schedule a free home repair with an authorized technician, who will replace the screen console.
