JOKOSIS Adult Portable Bed Rails Recalled for Entrapment and Asphyxiation Hazard
Stop using JOKOSIS bed rails immediately
JOKOSIS bed rails (model HC0262) can trap users between the rail and mattress, creating a serious risk of entrapment and asphyxiation. The rails also lack required warning labels. About 12,000 units were sold on Amazon between August and November 2025.
- Stop using the bed rails right away.
- Mark both the upper and lower rails with 'RECALLED' in permanent marker.
- Take a photo of the marked rails and email it to jokosisbedrailrecall@outlook.com.
- Dispose of the rails following your state and local waste disposal rules.
- Contact JOKOSIS for a refund.

The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails because when the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. In addition, the bed rails do not bear the required hazard warning labels.
