BabyBond retractable safety gates recalled for child entrapment hazard
Stop using BabyBond retractable safety gates
BabyBond retractable safety gates can allow a child's torso to fit through the gap between the gate and floor, creating a serious entrapment risk. The gates were sold at Target.com between November 2024 and October 2025. No injuries have been reported, but the hazard poses a risk of serious injury or death.
- Stop using the gate immediately if you own one.
- Check the white label on the mesh fabric for model number SH20.006DB to confirm you have a recalled gate.
- Contact Infant Innovations at elsie@BabyBond-global.com for return instructions.
- Return the gate to any Target store for a full refund.

The recalled gates violate the mandatory standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures because a child's torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor, becoming entrapped, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
