Bazic Silicone Glue recalled for poisoning risk; unsafe packaging and labeling
Stop using Bazic Silicone Glue immediately
Bazic Silicone Glue contains methanol but does not have child-resistant packaging required by law. The bottle is not safe from young children and could cause serious injury or death if swallowed. The label is also incorrect, falsely claiming the product is non-toxic and omitting flammability warnings.
- Stop using the product immediately if you have batch code V01233-031725-70004523 on the bottle.
- Contact Bazic Products with a photo of the product to receive a full refund.
- Do not pour the glue down the drain, into storm drains, or into trash; dispose of it as hazardous waste at your local hazardous waste facility.

The glue contains methanol, which must be in child-resistant packaging, as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The glue's packaging is not child-resistant, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children. In addition, the glue violates the labeling requirements under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act because it is incorrectly labeled as "Non-Toxic" and because it lacks a "highly flammable" hazard statement.
