Aroeve air purifiers recalled for fire and burn hazards due to overheating
Stop using Aroeve air purifiers immediately
Aroeve brand air purifiers (model MK04) can overheat and catch fire, creating a fire and burn hazard. The company has received 37 reports of overheating, including one confirmed fire, though no injuries have been reported so far. The affected units were manufactured before July 2025 and have serial numbers starting with "BN".
- Stop using your Aroeve air purifier (model MK04) right away
- Check the serial number on the bottom of your unit—if it starts with "BN", it is recalled
- Contact Airova for a free replacement air purifier
- Do not attempt to repair or continue using the unit
