Stop using TheKiddoSpace reusable water balloons
TheKiddoSpace reusable water balloons come with a black mesh storage bag whose cord lock contains a toxic chemical called phthalate that is banned in children's products. If a young child chews or ingests the cord lock, it could cause harm. No injuries have been reported so far.
- Stop letting children use these water balloons immediately
- Remove the black storage bag and keep it away from children
- Contact TheKiddoSpace at info@thekiddospace.com for a free replacement bag with prepaid shipping
- Cut the old bag in half, take a photo, and send it to the company as proof before they ship the replacement
- Throw away the destroyed bag according to your local waste rules

The cord lock on the recalled water ballons' storage bags contain a regulated phthalate, which violate the federal phthalate ban. Phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the recalled reusable water balloons immediately, take the storage bag away from children and contact TheKiddoSpace to receive a free replacement bag, including shipping. Consumers will be asked to cut the storage bag in half and send a photo of the destroyed bag to info@thekiddospace.com. Consumers should then dispose of the destroyed bags in accordance with their local waste disposal requirements.
