Stop using Babysense Max View monitor display
The display unit (parent unit) of Babysense Max View Baby Monitors can overheat or spark while charging, creating a fire risk. The affected model is VBM55, sold online from January 2023 through December 2025. Hisense has received 11 reports of overheating or sparking, but no injuries so far.
- Stop using the display unit immediately.
- Contact Hisense for a free replacement display unit.
- Do not throw the device in regular trash, curbside recycling, or battery recycling boxes—contact your local household hazardous waste collection center for safe disposal.

Consumers should stop using the display unit of the Max View baby monitors immediately and contact Hisense for a free replacement display unit that does not pose a fire hazard.
