ProRider bicycle helmets recalled for failure to meet safety standards; serious injury risk
Stop using ProRider bicycle helmets immediately
ProRider bicycle helmets do not meet mandatory U.S. safety standards for impact protection, positioning, and labeling. In a crash, these helmets may fail to protect your head, creating a serious risk of injury or death. The recall affects Economy, Bike Helmet with turn ring, Black Foam, BMX, and Toddler models sold from June 2022 through May 2023.
- Stop using the helmet right away.
- Cut the straps, photograph the damaged helmet, and email the photo to org@prorider.com to receive a full refund.
- Check the label inside your helmet for the model number and serial number to confirm it is recalled.

The recalled helmets violate the mandatory safety standard for bicycle helmets because the helmets do not comply with the impact attenuation, positional stability, labeling and certification requirements. The helmets can fail to protect the user in the event of a crash, posing a serious risk of injury or death due to head injury.
