4our Kiddies plastic tip restraint kits recalled for tip-over hazard
Stop using 4our Kiddies furniture straps immediately
4our Kiddies plastic furniture straps (tip restraint kits) can break or degrade over time, allowing furniture to tip over and potentially trap or injure children or elderly people. The plastic brackets and cables fail to meet safety standards, and CPSC has received reports of at least 150 incidents where these straps broke, including three furniture tip-overs.
- Stop using the recalled 4our Kiddies plastic tip restraint kit immediately.
- Keep children and elderly people away from any furniture secured with this product.
- Contact 4our Kiddies for a free replacement stainless steel tip restraint kit.
- Once you install the replacement, dispose of the recalled plastic restraint in your household trash.
- Visit www.anchorit.gov for instructions on properly anchoring furniture.

The recalled plastic tip restraint kits (also referred to as furniture straps) can break or degrade, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in serious injuries or death to children or elderly consumers interacting with furniture that is secured to the wall with the defective plastic tip restraints. This is a hidden defect because consumers who purchase and install this product may be under a false sense of security that their furniture is safe from a tip-over incident.
