Samson International Bellevue and Oaklynn canopy bed frames recalled for collapse hazard
Stop using Samson International canopy beds
The canopy beams on certain Samson International bed frames can collapse, especially when the bed is moved. The company has received five reports of the canopy collapsing and striking people, resulting in shoulder and head injuries.
- Do not move your bed frame.
- Check if you own a Bellevue or Oaklynn model (Samson International label on the inside right of the frame shows the model number).
- Contact Samson International immediately for a free repair kit with metal brackets and hardware.
- Install the repair kit before using the bed again.

Hazard
The canopy beams of the bed frames can collapse primarily when the bed is moved, posing impact and injury hazards to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should not move the recalled bed frames and contact Samson International immediately for a free repair and installation kit consisting of four metal brackets and mounting hardware.

Online at Costco.com from October 2024 through February 2026 for between $900 and $1,000.

The firm has received five reports of the bed canopy collapsing, including five reports of consumers being struck by the canopy beam and four resulting in shoulder and head contusion injuries.
