Snooz Breez 2-in-1 Smart Fan recalled for fire hazard from power connector corrosion
What this means
Snooz's Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom fan can overheat and catch fire due to corrosion in the power connector. The company has received six reports of fans overheating and smoking, including one confirmed fire. No injuries have been reported so far.
- Stop using the fan immediately if you own a Breez model with serial number starting with BZ10 or BZ02 (check the underside of the wooden base).
- Go to Snooz's website and register for a free replacement fan.
- Cut the power cord and upload photos as requested during registration.
- Note: Breez 2nd Generation sound machines are not affected by this recall.

The power connector inside the fan can corrode and cause the fan to overheat, posing a risk of fire.
Consumers should stop using the recalled fan immediately and go to the firm's website to register for a replacement fan. Breez 2nd Generation sound machines are not affected by this recall. To determine whether a product is affected, consumers should locate the serial number on the underside of the fan's wooden base. Serial numbers beginning with BZ10 or BZ02 are included in this recall. Consumers will be asked to cut the power cord and upload a photo of the cut power cord and a photo of the adapter showing the model number and all printed information.
