Muscccm pool drain covers recalled for entrapment and drowning hazard
What this means
Muscccm-branded pool drain covers sold on Amazon do not meet federal safety standards for drain protection. These covers create a risk that swimmers could become trapped or drown. About 480 covers were sold between February and March 2026.
- Stop using any pool or spa with a Muscccm drain cover immediately.
- Remove the drain cover from your pool.
- Take a photo of the removed cover and email it to MuscccmRecall@126.com for a refund.
- Install a drain cover that meets the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act (VGBA) standard.
- Keep children away from all pool drains.

The recalled drain covers violate the entrapment protection standards of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA), posing entrapment and drowning hazards to swimmers and bathers.
Pool owners, pool operators and consumers should immediately stop using pools with the recalled pool drain covers. To receive a refund, consumers should remove the drain cover from the pool, take a photo of the removed cover, and send it to SZ Hengxun by email at MuscccmRecall@126.com. Ensure all pools and spas have VGBA-compliant drain covers and teach children to stay away from drains.
