Sanlebi Pet Vet Playset recalled for accessible button cell batteries posing choking hazard
What this means
The Sanlebi Pet Vet Playset (model MX094) contains button cell batteries in the toy nail grinder and otoscope that children can easily access. Button cell batteries can cause serious injury or death if swallowed. About 4,650 playsets were sold on Amazon between June 2025 and January 2026.
- Take the nail grinder and otoscope away from children immediately
- Remove all batteries from these two parts and dispose of them safely according to local hazardous waste rules
- Throw away or stop using the nail grinder and otoscope
- Send a photo of the disposed parts to letorecall@outlook.com for a $5 refund or replacement parts

The Pet Vet Playset violates the mandatory standard for toys because the button cell batteries in the nail grinder and otoscope can be easily accessed by children.
Consumers should take away the nail grinder and otoscope from children immediately, stop using them and remove and properly dispose of the batteries. Consumers will be asked to throw the nail grinder and otoscope components away and send a photo of the disposed components to letorecall@outlook.com to receive a $5 refund or replacement nail grinder and otoscope. Note: Button cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.
