SEGMART 55" mini toddler trampolines recalled for strangulation hazard in accessory straps
Remove accessories from SEGMART trampolines immediately
SEGMART mini trampolines sold with accessory kits (hammock, punching bag, hand rings, basketball board) pose a strangulation risk. Young children can become entangled in the straps, which can cause serious injury or death. One child has already suffered a rope burn injury to the neck from the hammock straps.
- Stop using the hammock, punching bag, hand rings, and basketball board accessories immediately
- Remove all four accessories from the trampoline before any further use
- Cut the straps on the removed accessories and take photos
- Go to www.segmart.com for instructions to submit photos and claim your $30 refund
- Check your trampoline model number (SOSTT051BR, SOSTT051CR, or SOSTT051YP) on the handlebar to confirm if you have a recalled unit

Hazard
Young children can become entangled in the straps of the hammock, punching bag and hand ring accessories, posing a strangulation hazard, which can result in serious injury or death.
Remedy
Consumers should remove the hammock, punching bag, hand ring and basketball board accessories immediately before continuing to use the trampoline. SEGMART will provide a $30 refund to consumers who remove and destroy the hammock, punching bag, hand ring and basketball board accessories. Consumers will be asked to cut the straps on the accessories and submit photos of the cut accessories to the firm. Instructions can be found at www.segmart.com.
