JC Sales recalled Lil' Buddies Pet Laser Toys (model 24496) because they contain button cell batteries that can be swallowed by young children, posing a serious injury or death risk. The toys—white with small blue paw prints—also have tentacle ends that can choke small children and violate safety standards for children's toys. No injuries have been reported yet.
- Stop using the toy immediately and keep it away from children
- Remove and safely dispose of the button cell batteries following local hazardous waste guidelines
- Contact JC Sales at Recall@jcsales.net with a photo of the disposed toy for a full refund
- Do not throw batteries in regular trash—recycle or dispose of them as hazardous waste
