DROWNINGENTRAPMENTNationwide distribution

Stop using Earthtec pool drain covers

Earthtec white plastic pool drain covers do not meet federal safety standards designed to prevent entrapment and drowning. These 7 3/8-inch covers were sold online and pose a serious risk to swimmers, especially children.

  • Stop using your pool immediately if it has an Earthtec drain cover.
  • Remove the drain cover and destroy it.
  • Take a photo of the removed cover and email it to earthtecrecall@outlook.com to request a refund.
  • Replace it with a drain cover that meets Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act standards.
  • Teach children to stay away from all pool and spa drains.
