Honda CRF250R/450R off-road motorcycles recalled for handlebar rotation hazard

What this means

The handlebar clamp on certain 2025–2026 Honda CRF250R, CRF250RX, CRF250RWE, CRF450R, CRF450RX, and CRF450RWE off-road motorcycles can unexpectedly loosen, causing the handlebar to rotate without warning. This can lead to loss of control and a serious crash.

Stop riding the motorcycle immediately.
Find your VIN on the left side of the steering head and check it against the recall list at https://powersports.honda.com/recalls.
Contact an authorized Honda Powersports dealer to schedule a free inspection and handlebar clamp replacement.
Do not ride the motorcycle until the repair is complete.

Remedy

Consumers should stop using the recalled off-road motorcycles immediately and contact an authorized Honda Powersports dealer to schedule an appointment for a free inspection and if necessary, a replacement of the handlebar's clamp at the dealer's location.
