Minka Bardon pendant lights recalled for detachment risk
The frame of Minka's Bardon Series pendant light fixtures can detach from the downrod during installation, creating a serious fall hazard. Three models are affected: the 8-Light Pendant, 12-Light Pendant, and 5-Light Island. One detachment has been reported, though no injuries have occurred.
- Stop using the recalled fixture immediately and stay clear of the area beneath it.
- Check the model number on your ceiling plate: N1847-776, N1848-776, or N1849-776.
- Contact Minka Lighting Group for instructions on whether your fixture is affected and how to dispose of it safely.
- Request a full refund by check sent by mail.
