WSDZ light-up glasses recalled for battery ingestion risk
These LED shot glasses contain button cell batteries in an easily accessible compartment. Children can remove and swallow the batteries, which can cause serious internal burns and death. The glasses also lack required safety warnings.
- Stop using the glasses immediately and keep them away from children.
- Remove and safely dispose of the button cell batteries following local hazardous waste procedures.
- Contact ABC Trading at recallabc@gmail.com for a full refund; you'll be asked to dispose of the glass and send a photo of it in the trash.
- Do not throw batteries in regular trash.

The recalled glasses violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because the button cell batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard.?Additionally, the packaging and product do not have the warnings required under Reese's Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
