Bethlehem Lights illuminated spheres recalled for fire hazard
The LED lights inside these decorative spheres can overheat and catch fire. The company has received nine reports of sparking or overheating, though no injuries have been reported so far.
- Stop using the product immediately and unplug it from the wall.
- Cut the power cord to disable the product.
- Email a photo of the sphere with the cut cord to ribbonsphere@bethlehemlights.com to receive a full refund.
- Dispose of the product in the garbage after receiving refund authorization.

The LED lights on the recalled illuminated spheres can overheat, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fire hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the recalled illuminated spheres immediately and contact Bethlehem Lights for a full refund. Consumers should immediately unplug the product from the wall and cut the power cord. To receive a refund, consumers will be asked to email a photo of the product with the cut cord to ribbonsphere@bethlehemlights.com before disposing of it in the garbage.
