Giantex lounge chairs recalled for amputation hazard
Giantex outdoor lounge chairs (model NP10025NY) have a pinch point that can trap and amputate fingers when the backrest is adjusted. One person has already lost a finger this way. About 1,155 chairs were sold online between August 2023 and October 2025.
- Stop using the lounge chair immediately.
- Contact Giantex for a full refund and return instructions.
- You can either return the chair prepaid or destroy it and provide photos as proof.

Consumers can place their fingers in a pinch point, when adjusting the lounge chair, posing an amputation risk.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the recalled lounge chairs immediately and contact Giantex for a full refund. Consumers will be instructed to either request a prepaid return package or will be asked to destroy the recalled lounge chair by detaching the headrest pillow, cutting the fabric, and providing photographic proof of destruction.
