Joy Furniture living room sets recalled for fire hazard
The LED lights in illuminated spheres included with Joy Furniture's Talan and Royce living room furniture sets can overheat and catch fire. The company has received 41 reports of smoking, burning, and electrical odors, with two fires reported but no injuries.
- Stop using the illuminated spheres immediately and unplug them from the wall.
- Cut the power cord on the spheres.
- Email a photo of the product with the cut cord to ribbonsphere@bethlehemlights.com to receive a full refund.
- Dispose of the spheres in the garbage after receiving refund authorization.

Hazard
The LED lights on the recalled illuminated spheres can overheat, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fire hazard.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the recalled illuminated spheres immediately and contact Bethlehem Lights for a full refund. Consumers should immediately unplug the product from the wall and cut the power cord. To receive a refund, consumers will be asked to email a photo of the product with the cut cord to ribbonsphere@bethlehemlights.com before disposing of it in the garbage.

Raymour & Flanigan® Furniture in Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. The Talan was sold from January 2024 through March 2026 for between $1,000 and $2,200. The Royce was sold from May 2025 until the middle of May 2026 for between $800 and $1,800.
