Raychy light-up children's sneakers recalled for battery ingestion risk
These light-up sneakers contain coin batteries that children can easily access and swallow. Ingesting these batteries can cause serious internal burns and other life-threatening injuries. The sneakers lack required safety warnings and do not meet federal battery safety standards.
- Stop letting your child wear these sneakers immediately.

The recalled sneakers violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because the lithium coin batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard.?Additionally, the packaging and product do not have the warnings required under?Reese's Law.
