Treatlife smoke and CO detectors recalled for fire alert failure
Treatlife smoke and carbon monoxide detectors can fail to sound an alarm when smoke or fire is detected. These white, circular detectors are powered by AA batteries and were sold on Amazon. The failure to alert poses a risk of serious injury or death from smoke inhalation or burns.
- Contact Treatlife Technology for a full refund.
- Continue using the recalled detector until a replacement is installed.
- Once replaced, mark the recalled detector with "recalled", remove its batteries, and dispose of it in your household trash.
- Dispose of batteries according to local and state regulations.

Once a new detector is installed, consumers should write "recalled" on the recalled product, remove the batteries, dispose of the detector in their household garbage, and dispose of the batteries in accordance with local and state regulations.
