Cooper Lighting high bay LED fixtures recalled for fire risk
The LED board inside Metalux Optimized High Bay light fixtures can overheat or contact the lens and nearby combustible materials, creating a fire hazard. The company has received nine reports of these fixtures catching fire. About 42,000 fixtures sold since April 2020 are affected.
- Stop using the recalled fixtures immediately.
- Find your fixture's catalog number and date code on the label inside the channel cover (remove two screws to access).
- Go to www.content.cooperlighting.com/ohb-recall and complete the registration form.
- Contact Cooper Lighting to schedule a free repair or replacement.

Remedy
Consumers should stop using the recalled light fixtures immediately and contact Cooper Lighting to schedule a free repair or replacement. Consumers will be asked to complete a form at www.content.cooperlighting.com/ohb-recall to register the light fixtures and schedule a repair or replacement.
