Goal Zero YETI 3000X power stations recalled for fire risk
The circuit board in Goal Zero's YETI 3000X power stations can overheat, which may cause the unit to catch fire or smoke. Goal Zero has received four reports of units catching fire or overheating, though no injuries have been reported so far.
- Stop using the YETI 3000X power station immediately.
- Install the free firmware update through the Goal Zero application, or contact Goal Zero to have them install it for you at no cost.
- Visit Goalzero.com or call Goal Zero customer service for firmware update instructions or assistance.
