What this means

ZMC Group's light-up toys—including foam sticks, headbands, jelly rings, and balloon flowers—contain button cell batteries that children can easily access and swallow. Swallowing these batteries can cause serious internal chemical burns and death.

Stop letting children use these toys immediately.
Take the toys away from children.
Remove the batteries and mark the product with "RECALLED" or a large "X" in permanent marker.

Hazard

The recalled light-up toys violate the mandatory safety standard for children’s toys because the toys contain button cell batteries that can be easily accessed by children. If button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, including internal chemical burns, and death.

Remedy

Consumers should stop using the toys immediately, take them away from children and contact ZMC Group for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to remove the batteries, write “RECALLED” or a large “X” on the product with a permanent marker and submit a photo of the disposed product to recallzmctoy@gmail.com. Note: Button cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.
