Philips Allura Xper FD10 X-ray system recalled for rapid BIOS battery depletion

Certain Philips Allura Xper FD10 X-ray systems may have a BIOS battery that depletes faster than expected, preventing the system from starting up. The system will not display any warning before the battery runs out of power.
- Contact Philips if you operate one of the affected model numbers (722003, 722010, or 722026)
- Check your device serial number against the FDA recall list
- Follow Philips guidance on battery replacement or system service
Hazard
The BIOS battery may deplete faster than initially anticipated during the design phase. When the battery is depleted, the start-up process of the system will be halted, and the system will not start. No user messages are shown before the battery is low on power or depleted.
