Stop using Medline Quick Strip bandages
Medline Industries has recalled all lots of Quick Strip plastic sterile adhesive bandages (1" x 3") because some packages may have open seals that could allow bacteria or contamination inside. This affects over 4 million units distributed in the US, Guam, Canada, and the UAE. No injuries have been reported.
- Stop using Quick Strip bandages (Medline Item Number NON25600QS, all lots)
- Check your medicine cabinet or first aid kit for the product
- Discard any opened or questionable packages
- Contact your healthcare provider or pharmacist if you used these bandages on a wound and have concerns
Hazard
Medline has identified that all lots of the Curad Touch-Free and Quick-Strip Bandages may exhibit open seals in the packaging which may compromise the sterility of the product.
