Medline is recalling specific lots of suture removal kits that contain BD ChloraPrep Triple Swabsticks with potentially open or compromised packaging seals. An open seal on the applicators could allow contamination of the sterile product before use. No injuries have been reported.
- Check if you have Medline suture removal kit SKU DYNDR1277A, Lot 25EBO576
- Stop using the kit immediately if you have this lot number
- Contact Medline or your supplier for instructions on replacement or disposal
- Do not use the swabsticks if the applicator packaging appears open or damaged
