Stop using Medline blood culture kits (SKU DYNDH2088)
Medline is recalling specific lots of its blood culture kits because the BD ChloraPrep Triple Swabsticks inside may have damaged or open packaging seals. This could allow the applicators to dry out or become contaminated before use. The affected lots are 25EBU508 and 25EBE330.
- Check your kit SKU number (DYNDH2088) and lot number against the recall notice
- If your kit matches the affected lots, stop using it and contact Medline or your supplier for a replacement
- Do not use applicators with visibly damaged or open packaging
