Philips Azurion 7 B20 imaging system recalled for unexpected table movement

Stop using affected Philips Azurion 7 B20 systems

Philips medical imaging systems (Azurion 7 B20) may move unexpectedly when the Reset Geometry button is pressed, even when the table lock is supposed to be engaged. This affects certain software versions across three model numbers distributed worldwide.

  • Check if your facility has an affected Azurion 7 B20 system (models 722068, 722226, or 722236)
  • Do not use the Reset Geometry button until you receive guidance from Philips or the FDA
  • Contact Philips Medical Systems for instructions on a software update or corrective action
  • Report any incidents of unexpected table movement to the FDA MedWatch program
