Stop using MRIMed SL-111 exam light batteries

MRIMed's SL-111 battery for the Mobile Exam Light (model SL-110) can overheat while charging, causing internal components to melt and create smoke. This affects 314 batteries with specific lot numbers distributed nationwide and internationally.

  • Stop charging and using the SL-111 battery immediately if you have one of the affected lots
  • Do not leave the battery charging unattended
  • Contact MRIMed or your equipment supplier for a replacement or recall instructions
  • Check the lot number on your battery against the FDA recall list
