Pfizer's ethosuximide capsules (250 mg) have an incorrect expiration date printed on the label. The label says the medicine expires in September 2021, but it actually expired in September 2020. This affects 100-count bottles with lot number 3267079A distributed nationwide.
- Check if you have ethosuximide capsules with lot #3267079A and a label showing expiration date 09/2021
- Do not use these capsules—they may have lost potency
- Contact your pharmacy or doctor for a replacement prescription
- Return the affected bottles to your pharmacy
