The FDA found that Salon Technologies International's Sanitizing Hand Spray 80% contains acetaldehyde and acetal at levels above safe limits. The affected product is a 2 FL OZ bottle with lot number 20-018 and expiration date of April 3, 2023. This product was distributed in Florida and Washington.
- Stop using the product immediately if you have lot #20-018
- Do not apply to skin
- Contact Salon Technologies International or your retailer for instructions on how to return or dispose of the product
- Call the FDA or your doctor if you have used this product and have concerns
