Do not use Central Admixture fentanyl syringes
Central Admixture Pharmacy Services Inc. is recalling fentanyl syringes (10 mcg/mL in 0.9% sodium chloride) due to lack of assurance of sterility. The affected syringes may not be sterile, which could pose a serious risk if injected. The recall affects 1,762 syringes distributed nationwide.
- If you have any of the affected lots (17-275858, 17-275967, or 17-275981), do not use them.
- Contact your pharmacy or healthcare provider immediately for guidance on safe disposal and replacement.
- Check the lot number and expiration date on your syringe against the recalled lots.
