Major Pharmaceuticals is recalling midodrine hydrochloride 5 mg tablets (Lot N02640, expiring 08/2027) because some blister packages are not properly sealed. Defective packaging could allow the medication to degrade or become contaminated. No injuries have been reported.
- Check if you have midodrine tablets from Lot N02640 with expiration date 08/2027
- Inspect the blister packaging for signs of damage or incomplete sealing
- Contact your pharmacist or doctor if you have this lot; do not use if packaging appears defective
- Do not dispose of medication in household trash; ask your pharmacy about safe disposal
