Stop using QC Quality Choice cough drops

The FDA inspected the manufacturing facility for QC Quality Choice menthol cough drops on August 15, 2025, and found quality concerns. The company is recalling cherry-flavored cough drops from two specific production batches out of an abundance of caution.

  • Check if you have QC Quality Choice menthol cough drops, cherry flavor, 30-count bag (NDC: 83698-616-25)
  • Look for Lot #20240524 (expires 05/24/2026) or Lot #20240720 (expires 07/20/2026) on the package
  • Stop using the product if you have one of these lots
  • Return the product to where you bought it or contact CDMA, Inc. at the distributor for next steps
