Moonlight Packing Corporation is recalling loose bulk yellow peaches (sticker label 4044) because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness. The recall affects peaches sold across the United States and Canada with specific lot numbers.
- Do not eat yellow peaches with sticker label 4044 or any of the affected lot numbers listed
- Throw away the peaches or return them to the store where you purchased them
- Wash your hands and any surfaces or utensils that may have touched the peaches
- Contact your doctor if you have eaten these peaches and develop symptoms like fever, muscle aches, or nausea
