Sulmet antibacterial powder recalled for wrong expiration dates
Huvepharma Inc is recalling Sulmet Soluble Powder (sodium sulfamethazine), an antibacterial for animal use only, because the pouches have incorrect expiration dates printed on them. The recall covers lot YSL057, which shows an expiration date of JUL2028, and was distributed nationwide in the U.S. The notice reports no injuries.

What to do
- Do not use Sulmet Soluble Powder from lot YSL057 with the expiration date JUL2028.
- Check for Sulmet Soluble Powder, sodium sulfamethazine, NDC 23243-6500-1, Product # 1114165001, lot YSL057, Exp JUL2028. The recall covers 108 cases (2,160 one-pound pouches).
